How to Download FAST Data
There are two ways to download and save the data from the FAST Reporting Tool.
1. Download Links in Reporting Tool
If you wish to save just the information on a particular reporting tool page, look for the “Download this data” link toward the bottom of the report page.
Click the link and your browser will ask you whether you want to save or open a comma separated value (.csv) file. The .csv file can be opened by any spreadsheet or text editor program , including Excel.
2. List of Data Download Files
To access and download files for the data used in the FAST Study and reporting tool, review the list of data files below.
Because the files are very large, they are broken down by year into all districts, all campuses, state and all regions.
Each link in the table below links to a comma separated value (.csv) file. Click the link and your browser will ask you whether you want to save or open a .csv file. Save the file. The .csv file can be opened by any spreadsheet or text editor program, including Excel.

NOTE: In Part 2 of the study, academic progress, cost-adjusted spending and spending index measures are three-year averages through 2008-2009. All academic data is from 2008-09. Other financial data is from 2007-08.
